How to make a QR-Code

Posted by theBlaine January - 23 - 2011 - Sunday

I wanted to create QR codes for my website so you could download various apps I build for the Android OS. A QR code is the ‘barcode’ you see sometimes that you can scan with your Android’s barcode scanner. It will take you directly to the app in the Market on your mobile device. I did some searching and came across this fantastic QR-Code Generator!!

You can enter any URL, Text, Phone Number or SMS and you have the choice between a small, medium, large and extra large icon. Just right-click and save the image then you can upload it to your site. Or you can use theĀ convenientĀ permalink code it provides and you can just paste into wherever you need it.

Go here to use the QR-Code Generator: http://qrcode.kaywa.com

About me

Hi, my name is Blaine Sherman (aka theBlaine). I am a 37 year old Network Administrator by day and a mobile app developer and web app developer at night. I am a proud father of a 16 year old daughter and a mellow cat named Tough Guy. Welcome to my new web site. It is geared towards application development, but will also include tid-bits about my life and my whacky family!! I hope there is at least one thing entertaining or educational you can get from my site. If not, oh well, you will get over it!! Thanks for stopping by my little spot on the Net. ~ Blaine Sherman
