About 3 years ago I wanted to pick up a new hobby. I drove to a local hobby shop and started walking around in search for my newest hobby. After about 10 minutes of wandering around I stumbled across a remote controlled helicopter.

Many, many years ago I tried a remote controlled airplane and that lasted for about 15 seconds, which was about as long as I had it in the air before it clipped a tree top and crashed to the ground in an explosion of styrofoam. I figured, what the heck, I’ll give it a try. Worse case scenario I would be out the $160 for the cost of the remote controlled helicopter.

After getting home and unpacking my new toy, I charged up the batteries and got ready for my first flight. I took it out back and gave it a whirl. Ever since, I’ve been hooked. Though the learning curve was a bit steep at first, I can now fly my helicopter with enough precision to fly it up and down the hallways and chase our dog around with it. It didn’t take long until I bought my second helicopter that was a little more advanced.

Soon I will post pictures and videos of me playing with my helicopters. Until then, hang tight and enjoy the rest of my website.
